Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Mix the Ingredients: Begin by combining the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk the mixture until the sugar completely dissolves. This step ensures the smoothness of the ice cream.

2. Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2-4 hours, or ideally overnight. Chilling it ensures the ingredients are well-blended and helps the ice cream freeze faster during churning.

3. Prepare the Ice Cream Maker: If you’re using an ice cream maker, ensure the bowl is frozen (most machines recommend freezing the bowl for 12-24 hours before use). Once the mixture is chilled and your machine is ready, pour the mixture into the machine.

4. Churn the Ice Cream: Turn on the ice cream maker and churn the mixture according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The process usually takes about 20-30 minutes. During this time, the mixture will thicken and turn into soft ice cream.

5. Freeze the Ice Cream: Once the churning is complete, transfer the soft ice cream into an airtight container. For a firmer texture, freeze the ice cream for 4-6 hours before serving.

6. Serve: Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones and enjoy. You can also add toppings like chocolate sauce, nuts, or sprinkles.

Tips:

For extra creaminess, you can replace some of the milk with more heavy cream.

Adding a tablespoon of vodka or any other alcohol can prevent the ice cream from becoming too icy.

Try adding mix-ins such as crushed cookies, chocolate chips, or fruit towards the end of the churning process for a twist.

This vanilla ice cream recipe is simple, rich, and incredibly delicious! It’s perfect as a base for sundaes, milkshakes, or just enjoyed on its own.https://www.youtube.com/@Ayeshamoon695
